Coccidiomycosis, known commonly as Valley Fever, is a fungal disease common in the Southwestern U.S.  It affects many animal species including humans and companion animals.  The University of Arizona has an excellent website concerning Valley Fever in companion animals and humans.  You are encouraged to view the website and contact us if you have specific questions concerning this potentially serious disease.
